1. What version of tomcat are you on?
Tomcat 5.5
No, its uses standard cookies for persistence. I did try appending jsessionid to my IFRAME src and several variations.2. Does the URL for the outermost window have "jsessionid" in it?
3. What does the URL for the IFRAME look like?
I build the IFrame in a JSP for testing as follows: <% String sessionid = request.getSession(false).getId();String url = "run?PJMR=" + mrId + "&id=" + appId + "jsessionid="+sessionid;
url = response.encodeUrl(url); %> <iframe src="<%=url%>" >It does call the servlet "run" correctly because I get a breakpoint fine. The PJMR request parameter references a session based "Action" object. As an alternative, I could enhance our server side framework to store these action objects in a static map instead of user sessions I suppose.
