I am trying to do the following statement. BufferedReader in = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("\\rgc-dc\netlogon\usermap.ini")); It chokes around the \u area telling me invalid unicode. I thought I would try to break it up in a String something like String File = "\\rgc-dc\netlogon" + "\" + "usermap.ini" But it doesn't like this either. I don't really understand what the problem is or how to fix it. Michael Smith iSeries.mySeries.
