Hi,
I have a Java program running on iSeries that includes this line of code:

FileInputStream fstream = new FileInputStream(file);

The program is submitted to batch.

I am getting occasional error messages
java.io.IOException: Read from stdin not allowed in batch
at java.lang.Throwable.<init>(Throwable.java:195)
at java.lang.Exception.<init>(Exception.java:41)
at java.io.IOException.<init>(IOException.java:40)
at java.io.FileInputStream.readBytes(Native Method)
at java.io.FileInputStream.read(FileInputStream.java:194)
at il.cis.jims.listener.util.MQPut.put_msg(MQPut.java:134)

This never happens when the code is executed interactively.

Any ideas?

Shalom Carmel
