If you are asking about Java, then it doesn't make sense to ask that question without stating what class that method belongs to. And by my count there are over 40 classes that have a clear() method. At any rate, you will find the Java API documentation here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/ PC2 -----Original Message----- From: java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ronald Newman Sent: September 14, 2006 13:18 To: java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: method clear() Can someone tell me what the method clear() is used for and how it is used? I have looked at the web site www.java.com and searched google for clear() with no luck. Thanks Ron Newman
