If I have a session logged into a Java application, and I press CTRL-N to create a new browser window, will that cause the two windows to be based on the same session and cause each one to affect the other (in other words, they are sharing objects) ?
yes for IE, firefox
whereas if I open two new windows, log in to the application twice, once from each window, I have two different sessions and the browser windows don't affect each others data (they each have their own objects)?
yes for IE For firefox, they still share the same session.
