Those values are the "normal" results when using the server within WDSC
from your local machine. You are not doing something stupid nor is it a
DNS problem. We found the same thing when working with webfaced RPGLE code
that contained IP Address routine.

Does anyone have any idea what would cause the following code ...

out.println("request.getLocalAddr() = " +  request.getLocalAddr() +
"<br>");
out.println("request.getLocalName() = " +  request.getLocalName() +
"<br>");

within a .jsp file running in WAS 6.0, to product results with the
address and host name switched?

My results running locally within WDSC are

request.getLocalAddr() = localhost
request.getLocalName() = 127.0.0.1


When I deploy to a production WAS 6.0 server I get the server values
switched also.

Seems like this may be a DNS issue somewhere, or I am just doing
something stupid somewhere.
