Rational 6.0 with Iseries DB2

Hi all,

I am currently working on a project that will show a list of product on 
our Portal 5.0. I will use Rational 6.0 to create a portlet.

This portlet will connect to our iseries DB2, Oracle and Microsoft SQL 
server using JDBC. 

What type of portlet should i used? Should i used a Faces portlet with the 
EJB session?

Is there any good tutorial somewhere?
