The following query work fine on AS/400 machine. But I am looking for a DB2 
query on Windows platform.
  I had tried the same query on AS/400 machine and Windows machine.

Of course, if that exact query is his query then 

select * from DB2ADMIN.ST_ITEM where RRN(DB2ADMIN.ST_ITEM) between 50
and 75 

would work too. And it would be the only truly predictable set of rows.
