If you're looking for commercial options, we provide 2 products for this:

1.) RJS 5250 Integrator - Allows you to screen scrape from any CA/400
screen via VB-style scripting and perform URL passing, program calls, etc.
without changing any 5250 screens. This works if you don't have any source
code to your existing apps.

2.) RJS iSeries Office Integrator - Allows you to embed URL calls, mail
merge calls, program calls, etc into any iSeries program and tie to a
Function key, subfile option, etc. This works if you do have the source to
your existing apps.

subject: 5250 Emulator to Web Application Link

What alternatives exist to link a 5250 green screen emulator such as
PC5250
or MochaSoft to a URL link?

Specifically, I want to be able to dynamically link 5250 data from an
emulator such as a part number and launch a browser session passing in
that
part# to the web application. The web application would use the part# to
do
further lookup, provide images, etc. Other examples would be passing
address to google maps, etc.

Thanks in advance?
