Hi Rune, printing pdf's in a batch job is kind of tricky. There is, as far as I know, not a print service in Java that recognize a pdf file. But I have used 2 different ways of printing pdf's in a batch job: 1. Convert the pdf file to Postscript and use the java print service to print the Ps file. I use PdfToPs.exe (free) to convert from PDF to Postscript. 2. Create an iSeries printerfile: CRTPRTF FILE(TEST) DEVTYPE(*USERASCII) OUTQ(TEST) Use ftp (in a java og rpg program) and send the pdf file to the iSeries printer file. The pdf file will be placed in the iSeries outq and printed if the outq is connected to a network printer. Rune, just call me if you want more details (seems like we both are norwegians).
