All I would like to do is log to a file on the IFS using a log listener.
We have a server that is not internal, so accessing the logs from that
server is difficult.  It doesn't have to log to the ISeries either.  It
could log to another windows server within our network if need be.

Can you provide a bit more detail?  Are you trying to create a log
listener on the iSeries, or do you want to log to QSYSOPR?
