Are you looking to compare the raw text (i.e. spaces and tabs included) or
compare structure?

For instance:
<xml></xml>

Is not the same as
<xml>
</xml>

...because of the extra carriage return, but if you comparing xml structure
they would be identical.

Subject: Comparing 2 xml using Java on iseries

List,

        I'm sure many people have been down this road.

        But so far I haven't found any tool or utility to compare 2 xml
instances.

        Is there something, Freebie, available for iSeries folks which is
good and reliable?

        As always thanks in advance.
