Hmmm, what JDK? If I understand the spec on that correctly you could do
that starting w/1.4.

Ok, I got it to work just coding only the exceptions I needed...the same

message gets thrown and the stack trace still gets printed, but it works

very nicely...

also, I cannot do e.getCause()...compiler says it doesn't exist...
