I would assume you were speaking of me. And I can take it just fine.
However, I would also like to point out that by being a jerk and poking
a little fun at the idea of invoking a web service directly from RPG the
conversation moved to a point that the original poster discovered that
using Java might indeed be the way to go here. So, actually my jerky
post was constructive in that it moved the conversation to a better
place.

I, like Joe, also don't give a hoot what people think of me, although I
don't think I'd have used the word "hoot". :-) It has been pointed out
to me by some very wise people that the young man spends all his time
worrying about what others think of him, the old man doesn't give a damn
what others think of him, but the wise man realizes that others weren't
thinking about him at all. :)

Hopefully this thread was indeed both entertaining and educational -- I
know it was for me.
