RE: how do we know that JDBC connection has correct library list

Try WRKUSRJOB QUSER and look for at the active jobs.  Scan the job for
the user Id you used when setting up your datasource.

Get your hands on the WRKODBCJOB command from Brian Dietz.  We couldn't 
function without it.  Works for JDBC connections as well (internal or 
external)
