Resultset has junk value when called from java

Hi
I have a stored procedure written in SQLRPGLE, 
There is a java program which calls this stored
procedure  to get data,
I am facing a very weird problem, when i call this
stored procedure from java running on windows, it
works just fine i get good data, use (AS400JDBCDriver)
but when i call this stored procedure with java
running on AS400 (using native driver) i get junk in
only one field from the stored procedure

how do i start to resolve this issue
