WDSC: Step by Step was designed specifically to take a green screen
programmer through all of the basic functions of WDSc with a real world
example.  It starts with using the basic web design features to build a
simple web site.  This part introduces you to HTML and Cascading Style
Sheets.

Next, the book walks you through creating a JavaSever Page to show
dynamic data, and how to write a servlet to populate that JSP.  This
gives you an example of basic JavaServer Page and Java syntaxes
(including explanation of the code).

Finally, it describes how to create an RPG program and call it from the
servlet for a truly dynamic application with a web front end and an RPG
back end, all working within a consistent web site.

Not only that, all the source is there, and you don't have to type
everything in.  It even has "checkpoints" at each stage of the process
so that you can start at a specific chapter if you want to learn some
particular piece quickly, or revisit it at a later date.

Okay, I wrote it and I'm a little biased.  But I think I did a pretty
good job on it <grin>.
