Hi,
this is not java programming, so you probably should use the
httpapi user group. You will find it on Scott Klement's web
site. I beleave Scott uses the same group for httpapi and
ftpapi.

Just need to know which level of support you need.
Do you have any experience with rpg?
Did you install/restore the HTTPAPI on an iSeries?

In library libhttp there is a QRPGLESRC source file.
In member LIBHTTP/QRPGLESRC.README you will find how to
install the api.

There are several examples on how to use rpg to communicate
via http.

In member LIBHTTP/QRPGLESRC.EXAMPLE2 you will find an
example that is similar to your needed task.

EXAMPLE 2 description:
This one communicates with a program that's running on a
web server called a CGI script. Usually, you'd do this with
a webbrowser -- but here's how you can add this into your
own programs.
In this case, EXAMPLE2 will communicate with my web server.
It will perform the same type of action as this web page
does:
http://www.scottklement.com/contact/
It will send the data from the fields on that HTML form to
the program on my server which converts it to an e-mail
message, and sends it to
me.
Note: When you run this, it _really_will_ send me an E-
mail.
So please take it easy. :)
Compile it by typing:
  CRTBNDRPG LIBHTTP/EXAMPLE2 SRCFILE(LIBHTTP/QRPGLESRC)
DBGVIEW(*LIST)

Regards,
Magne
