It worked (and it's a colon on OS/400; that much at least I already knew!)

And it apparently used a "native optimization," since our V4R4 box most
emphatically DOESN'T have Host Servers running (and indeed, never, to my
knowledge, HAS had Host Servers running [they may indeed have been purged
to free up disk space]).

But I'm still left with the question of why the docs say that the Toolbox
is in the system classpath, yet my experience says otherwise, at least on
this box. Is there something I can do to fix this?
