Connect to Microsoft Access Database from AS400 using java

Hi
is it possible to read or update data in Microsoft
access database from a java programming running on
AS400,
If i have to connect to Access database from windows i
create a system DSN and then use it, is it possible to
do some thing like that from AS400
What can i do if i have to read or update data in
Microsoft Access database.
