Connection Pooling -- Tomcat 5.0.28 on iSeries...

I am receiving this message from my simple test.jsp page:
javax.servlet.ServletException: Cannot create JDBC driver of class '' for
connect URL 'null' 
I have set up the connection pooling according to Marc Longmann's excellent
article at: http://www.itjungle.com/fhg/fhg060204-story01.html. As far as I
can tell, I didn't deviate from his instructions. I'm using his first
suggestion -- the IBM JDBC driver. 
Does anyone know right off the bat what I missed?
