Toolbox Data Queue Count -- JAVA400-L

I would like to know if there is any way I can count the number of messages 
waiting in the Data Queue. Does the Toolbox provide any mechanism for this. I 
have tried to use DataQueue class and have not found any method of function 
that gives me the messages waiting on the output data queue.

Please help
