Have you tried using the AS400ToolboxJarMaker utility supplied with the
toolbox?

>>Removing unused files from a JAR file With AS400ToolboxJarMaker, you can
exclude any IBM Toolbox for Java files not needed by your application by
selecting only the IBM Toolbox for Java components, languages, and CCSIDs
that you need to make your application run. AS400ToolboxJarMaker also
provides you with the option of including or excluding the JavaBean files
associated with the components you select. <<

Subject
Reducing the size of JT400 / JTOpen JAR?

Does anyone have some pointers are a good way to reduce the size of the
JT400 / JTOpen JAR file?

I've already removed the com.ibm.as400.vaccess, com.ibm.as400.util, and
com.ibm.as400.micro packages, as well as all the GIF files (my
application runs on green screen).

Thanks!

david
