I was just asking for an open source Java-based CMS (or forum or BBS, or whatever you want to call it). I was surprised that few existed, and I was just presenting my findings and asking for help. I'm actually thinking of giving Zope/Plone a shot, since that will force me to become more familiar with Python. > But sometimes I have problems anyway to > understand > this list and its purpose: its called a java list and most people prefer > rpg wherever possible. Dieter, read my response to Marc. This is NOT a "Java list". This is an iSeries list. Its focus is using Java in conjunction with the iSeries (and in cooperation with all the other tools available on the iSeries). That includes RPG, but it also includes DB2 and the IBM Toolbox, and all sorts of other goodies. The main difference between this list and Java lists is that this list will use another language where appropriate. Joe
