New Issue for As400/Websphere Connection

Hi,

      I am using Datasource to access database AS400 through Jt400
i have created connection pool also........

I have program to select record which will return an ArrayList  using this
arraylist size i will keep on update records to other table
the records will vary from 15,000 to 30,000., (Min 10,000).

when i run this program on my server it will create lot of signon and
establish new connection.
even though i am
closing the connection,
committing the connection and making connection == null when i print SOP i
will get connection == null this is for each update/insert

even then my server is establishing new connection and will reach max and
becoms slow and even sometimes hang.

Please provide solution for this
