DReid, I don't use IBM's support for Tomcat so I can't say exactly what is causing the problem but their tool must be updating/creating a servlet entry in the web.xml file found in your application's WEB-INF directory. It also seems that they would distribute your class file to WEB-INF/classes/com/capfac/user. I would check those two areas to make sure they look right. David Morris >>> DReid@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 5/11/2004 9:38:07 AM >>> I am defining a servlet in tomcat on v5r1 in the IBM web Administration for ISeries. My problem is, whenever I define the servlet as a package, eg, com.capfac.user.UserServlet I get a 404 web page. If I remove the package from the servlet it works fine. Everything works fine in websphere, we are only having problems with Tomcat. Is there some special process needed when handling packages?
