Beppe,

There are a lot of exceptions which can be thrown from a ProgramCall. You
need a try..catch block to catch each of them. ie.

try
{
      ..do your ProgramCall..
}
catch (PropertyVetoException e)
{
      System.out.println ("PropertyVetoException " + e);
}
catch (AS400SecurityException e)
{
      System.out.println ("AS400SecurityException " + e);
}

and add the necessary import statements. There may be more exception
types, if there is the compiler will tell you.

Hope this helps,

Nigel Gay.

Hi,

I'm trying to compile a simple program that does a ProgramCall but I get
these errors:

-----

FondiServices.java:32: unreported exception
java.beans.PropertyVetoException; must be caught or declared to be thrown
     pgm.setProgram(QSYSObjectPathName.toPath("QGPL",

FondiServices.java:40: unreported exception
com.ibm.as400.access.AS400SecurityException; must be caught or declared to
be thrown
     if (pgm.run() != true)

-----

I've checked old postings and as suggested, I've downloaded the latest
version of Jt400Native.jar and Jt400.jar but the error still persists.

Thanks.
Beppe.
