The answer to this was that there is a bug in a previous jt400.jar version. I had 3.3. I upgraded to 4.4 and it works. When I try to commit values on the System Directory Entry for the User Profile, I get com.ibm.as400.resource.ResourceException: One or more attributes were not set. Do I need to do something more to identify the directory entry than connect with a system name and user profile? I have one directory entry for the local system. Kristen
