Sub,

Ive done similar using the following, remember for many os400 commands you
don not have to specify the job number if the other bits uniquely identify
the job

                        // Create WRKACTJOB output
                        cmd.run("WRKACTJOB OUTPUT(*PRINT) SEQ(*STS)
RESET(*YES)");
                        cmdString =
                                "CPYSPLF FILE(QPDSPAJB) TOFILE("
                                        + tempFile
                                        + ") SPLNBR(*LAST) JOB("
                                        + sys.getUserId()
                                        + "/QPRTJOB)";
                        cmd.run(cmdString);
                        cmdString =
                                "DLTSPLF FILE(QPDSPAJB) SPLNBR(*LAST) JOB("
+ sys.getUserId() + "/QPRTJOB)";
                        cmd.run(cmdString);

Cheers
Colin.W

Thanks, Colin. Unfortunately that only gives me the userid. I still need
the jobname and number as well.

I'm calling an existing *cmd object which produces a spooledfile. To find
the spooledfile, the job info is 961551/PHIL/QPRTJOB. However, I seem to
only be able to get 961557/QUSER/QRWTSVR from any of the objects.
