Hello, we are an old-school RPG shop that is now tasting the flavour of Java on AS-400. Currently we have a bit chaotical situation, because each programmer used his own idea of the source and class organization. We have a lots of duplicate items located in various locations. My idea was to create a common path where the commonly used classes (JDBC drivers, XML parsers, utilities, etc) would be placed. Then another path where the "live" applications would be placed. And the testing and development processes would be done in user portions based on habits of each programmer. Or is there a better strategy? I'd like also to know a bit more about the most effective way of setting the job attributes of a simple user/programmer. Thank you Best regards Balazs
