accessing files from IFS folder through web application

Hi
I am running tomcat on my windows 2000 machine, I have
mapped IFS folder to my machine, so i can access files
from IFS
I have a pdf file in L:\cxash\test.pdf (where L is my
mapped drive) , which i am trying to access thrugh
servlet, 
So in my servlet my code looks like this
 File file = new File("L:\\cxash\\test.pdf");
But i am getting following error
java.io.FileNotFoundException: L:\cxash\test.pdf
(Access is denied)
        at java.io.FileInputStream.open(Native Method)
        at
java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:103)

how do i set the folder authority, I need to read this
pdf file and display it in IE
