We don't use AFP any more because PDF is much more widely supported.
There are a lot of open source tools to create PDFs. I have been using
iText and Jasper Reports lately. You can create the equivalent of
overlays with any program that can print by using a PDF print driver
like PDF995 or Open Office.

is it possible to create overlays using WDSc 5.1 to
print nice format reports?
