Have you set the classpath in the right place. I have found that there are a number of boxes for classpath in websphere. Also I found that I had to have jt400ntv and jt400 in my classpath for this to work. Cheers Colin.W -----Original Message----- From: Y. Ozan [mailto:yildirayo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 11 December 2003 14:10 To: java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: user/pass credentials on WAS Hi, I get the following error when using AS400 object without specifying user/pass credentials on WAS v5r2: 'com.ibm.as400.access.AS400SecurityException: Password is not set.' I have already put /qibm/proddata/java400/jt400ntv.jar in my Classpath and successfully run standalone java programs (runjva) without setting the user/pass in the as400 object. With Websphere it seems to miss the classpath settings? Possibly some config in WebSphere I'm missing?
