David Whats your classpath. I think jt400Native only has some of the jt400 classes in it, so I think you need to have jt400Native.jar and jt400.jar in your classpath. Cheers Colin.W -----Original Message----- From: David Morris [mailto:David.Morris@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 November 2003 22:29 To: java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: JDBC 3.0 and native driver We have some code that relies on JDBC 3.0 features and are quite certain (using verbose) that this code is running with the 1.4 JDK on the iSeries. The feature is getGeneratedKeys() after an insert. It is using jdbc2_0-stdext.jar in the ProdData directory, which seems kind of odd, but since there isn't a jdbc3_0-stdext.jar maybe this is OK. This code works fine with JTOpen 4.1 jt400.jar off of the iSeries (haven't tried this one on the iSeries). It will not work with JTOpen 4.1 jt400Native.jar running on the iSeries. I am building a simplified test case but in the mean time I thought I would ask if anyone has this working.
