Hi I am not sure, how can executeQuerry(String) going to help in passing Cursor as ResultSet, I am trying to do this because when i create a JDBC connection in java program it uses the library list of the user job description and not of the Job which is calling it, in other words if the Library is LIB1 in the job which is calling it, and if in user job description of user profile if the Library is LIB2, then the connection as LIB2 instead of LIB1 So currently i am passing the Libray to Java and usinf this library to create JDBC connection.. If i am able to send the ResultSet i wont need to create a connection object to run SQL query and hence save creating of Connection in java Ashish --- Barbara Morris <bmorris@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Ashish Kulkarni wrote: > > > > I have a java method which has ResultSet as Input > > parameter, > > How do i call this from RPG and pass the SQL > cursor as > > input param > > public void workResult(ResultSet rs) > > { > > //logic here > > } > > Just guessing, but maybe you could first call some > other method that > returns a ResultSet, like executeQuery(String) from > java.sql.Statement. > (I found out about executeQuery in the javadoc for > ResultSet.) > > _______________________________________________ > This is the Java Programming on and around the > iSeries / AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: JAVA400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: > http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/java400-l > or email: JAVA400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the > archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l. > __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
