WRKJOB tells you what your job number is for that job. I don't understand what you mean by "job number from AS400 object". But when executing a clp program, the command RTVJOBA (Retreive Job Attributes) returns many of the values as wrkjob. Any executing job can get it's job number. Within an RPG program, the program data structure (see RPG manual) will return the job number. There are also api's that can be called to get this info. hth jim franz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ashish Kulkarni" <kulkarni_ash1312@xxxxxxxxx> To: "Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400" <java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, April 21, 2003 6:26 PM Subject: Get job number from AS400 object > Hi, > > how to get a job number from AS400 object > What i want is the info when we use AS400 command > wrkjob > > Ashish > > __________________________________________________ > Do you Yahoo!? > The New Yahoo!
