Thank you but this is not exactly what I need. This is the way to control WAS using JMX. But I need to present my own services as JMX MBeans (as I can do in JBoss with jboss-service.xml descriptor) - thus I need an example of MBean service and deployment descriptor. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gary L Peskin" <garyp@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "'Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400'" <java400-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 17, 2003 3:13 AM Subject: RE: JMX in WAS 5.0 > You could start here: > http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v1r1m0/websphere/ic2924/info/rzaiz/50/ > admin/jmx.htm > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx > > [mailto:java400-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Timur Evdokimov > > Sent: Wednesday, April 16, 2003 3:01 PM > > To: 'Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400' > > Subject: JMX in WAS 5.0 > > > > > > > > Hello all, > > > > We're going to deploy our J2EE app on WAS 5.0. > > > > WebSphere 5.0 seem to have JMX container built it and we do > > need because our app uses JMX heavily. > > So far so good, but I can't find any examples. > > > > Can anyone point to a good example of creating and deploying > > MBean service onto WebSphere 5.0? > > > > IBM support (at least our local office in Netherlands) seems > > to be incredibly clueless on the topic. > > > > Best regards, > > Timur > > > > _______________________________________________ > > This is the Java Programming on and around the iSeries / > > AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list To post a message email: > > JAVA400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change > > list options, > > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/java400-l > > or email: JAVA400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > > at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l. > > > > > _______________________________________________ > This is the Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: JAVA400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo.cgi/java400-l > or email: JAVA400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l. >
