Tim, I have used an open source package called jLpr, which allows you to print to an IP address. It works fine, but with the 1.4 JDK, you should be able to bypass this using the Java print service API. I have not yet tried it but plan on doing some experimenting next week. Another technique I have used from a Servlet is to just return the pdf as content in the page. You set the content type to application/pdf along with several other settings. Overall, this is what I would recommend for new development. David Morris >>> thatzenbeler@xxxxxxxxxxxxx 03/07/03 10:50AM >>> I was wondering if there was a project, or class that can easily be setup, that would allow me to do this... 1) I have a PDF, sitting in my IFS, or Could be setting on a PC, with a mapped drive... 2) I would like to be able to print that PDF to an attached printer anywhere on our network. What programs would I need to setup, to do this... I'm assuming sometype of Printer Daemon, and then sometype of pdf printing function... But I just don't know whats packages are worth pursuing, if any... Thank you for your time... Tim
