Richard,

Thanks for answering anyway.
I'm hoping one of the driver developers will give me a definitive answer,
one way or the other, but maybe they've all gone on vacation already.....;)

Chris.

Wrong assumption... I don't actually know if they did a statement pool
implementation or not. Sorry.

Richard,

I infere then from your reply, that the V5R2 toolbox driver does not
implement statement pooling. Can anyone tell me if there are any plans to
do
so, and if so when?

Thanks,
Chris.

Nothing in the JDBC 3.0 specification says what a JDBC driver will support
statement pooling. The JDBC 3.0 specification dictates a standard way in
which statement pooling can be implemented.

All,

Can anyone confirm whether or not the V5R2 Toolbox driver supports
statement
pooling? It says it's JDBC 3.0 compliant, but nothing in the documentation
mentions it.

Thanks,
Chris.
