Would someone be so kind to share with me some source code, or a
link to a working snippit on the web. I would like to do a native DB
through an as/400 source member. Since the object I want to read is unique
to the 400, I didn't figure using a native function to read it would be too
bad...

Any how... I first tried reading a source member using a create
alias, to name the source member, and pull that data that way, but I would
like to try using the ability to set an overide an read the data that way if
it's possible (like RPG would do it)... I'm just expermenting with various
techniques...

        Thanks, tim
