It appears to establish an SSL socket connection, but leaves the client waiting indefinitely for emulation parameter (e.g., terminal type) negotiation. Apparently the first few connections after an IPL work fine, then the malfunction begins. No idea whether the normal Telnet port is also affected; the user's AS/400 does not have it enabled. -- JHHL
