This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Mike, Can you just contain one or both of the classes in your class? That is almost always the best way to extend a real class anyway (you do not indicate if these are abstract). Otherwise, I would create two classes, one that extends each class. Then, if it was really necessary to present one class that extended them both, create a third class that contains these two classes and implements all of the public methods of the two classes and passes through the method calls. Hope this helps. All, I need to extend more than one base class for a specific class. Both classes are from commercial packages, so I do not have the source for them. I can not use an interface for either of them. Obviously, I can't extend both of the classes for this class. Does anyone have any ideas to work around this Java restriction?
