Sorry, should have added a little more info.

Did you verify jt400Ntv.jar is on your v4r5 box? It does not come with
v4r5, it shows up when PTFs are applied. You need PTFs 5769ss1 sf62426 and
5769jv1 sf62531 to get the jar on your machine.

If jt400ntv.jar is on the box then can you run a very simple testcase
putting jt400.jar, jt400ntv.jar and the app in the classpath via the same
mechanism. Multiple classpaths worry me. Especially with Java 1.2 and
later because there are now multiple class loaders. If jt400.jar is loaded
via the user loader and jt400ntv.jar is loaded via the extension or system
loader, there can be problems.

I am on V4R5 with Java 1.2 and I get "AS400SecurityException password not
set" error. I added
'.:/qibm/proddata/java400/jt400ntv.jar' to env var CLASSPATH using
WRKENVVAR LEVEL(*SYS) . This does not fix the problem. I call the java
class in a CL with its own classpath
What is wrong?
Thanks.
Bruce
