That pretty much covers it Chris - you probably know more about it than I
do.

One thing that fools the RPGers is that  "If A = B" or "Eval A = B" doesn't
mean the same thing if A and B are objects as it does when they are regular
RPG variables.  For non-Java literate RPGers (and even the Java literate who
are in "RPG mode") that can result in interesting debugging issues <grin>

If you are on V5R1 why not use this RPG support?  My current requirement is
for COBOL and for systems at V4R5 or earlier that cannot use the V5 RPG
support which I think is fabulous.  In particular - the ease with which you
can create RPG Native methods is great.  The RPG invoking Java methods is a
"nice to have" but Native methods to me are the real benefit.
