We had a similar problem to our machine (WAS 4.02 on v4r5), for us it got
corrected by installing the latest level of PTFs for 5722JC1. You dont say
what release/ WAS level you are at so I'm not sure if this is the right
thing for you however.

| Subject: How to add Toolbox (jt400.jar) to Websphere on iSeries?

I thought WAS would include this jar file at boot load but I got class
com/ibm/as400/access/AS400 not found error when I use AS400 class in my
servlet. What is the appropriate way to add this jar file to WAS?
Thanks.
Bruce
