All,

I am having a "classpath crisis" :) I am using Tomcat with my Apache server
on the 400. I have modified the workers.properties file to include the
classpath entry where some of my utility classes are located. When I run
the servlet that accesses these classes, I get a NoClassFoundException. If
I put the utility classes in the webapp folder, they are found and all is
fine.

I do not want to place the utility classes in the webapps folder because
other applications use these classes. I have added .jar files to the
classpath before by modifying the workers.properties file and have
experienced no problems. This time the utility classes are not in a jar
file. The specific line I am adding to the workers.properties file is:

worker.inprocess.class_path=/com/shipley/utilities

The classes are located in this directory.

I have gone to the extent of changing the authority of the classes and the
directories in the path to *PUBLIC *RWX and all other authorities. I did
this to rule out an authority problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Mike
