Oh, that. My Sun documentation for javac says this: "Note: the -O option does nothing in the current implementation of javac and oldjavac." VAJ uses an IBM compiler and not Sun's, it's true. Maybe it doesn't do optimization either? I don't know. When you use javac to compile .java files you can specify -O to enable optimization. How do you specify the -O from within VAJ? More specifically, when you export to a .jar file from VAJ you can check a box to include debug information but there's no box to check to enable optimization. I am looking for the -O in VAJ. Etienne
