This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Hello everybody, We have an application developed in java. A small HTML page is created and an applet created which can be invoked by clicking a button. Inside the applet we call this application. So from the browser on invoking the HTML and on button click the application opens as a separate window outside the browser. Things work fine. The applet code is given below - public class InvokeAppApplet extends java.applet.Applet { public void init() { MyApp MA=new MyApp(); MA.setVisible(true); } public void destroy() { } public void stop() { } public void paint(Graphics g) { g.drawString("My Application",100,100); } public String getAppletInfo() { return "MyApp Loading Success"; } } The problem is that this call downloads all the necessary class files to the client machine. This is time & resource consuming. Is there any way of doing the same using JSP/Servlet combination wherein the resources downloaded to the client machine is less and the initial loading is faster ? Or is there any other solution for the same? Thank You Cheers Vijosh " I always wanted to be someone. I think I should have been more specific... " - George Bernard Shaw >From the Desk of : Vijosh A.
