Our company had Craig Pelkie come and give a week of training on VisualAge for Java and I was up and going with it in no time. Of course, I also had some guidance from others in the department who were using it. I also read the book "Java for RPG Programmers" by George Farr and Phil Coulthard. (Well, at least most of it!!) I have the product here (just got it) but haven't had a chance to try it yet. It's kind of a VAJ for beginners intro. It costs $395 and looks ok to me. Check it out at www.web400.com. Hopefully, in a few weeks I can be a little bit more informative. Michael Crump Saint-Gobain Containers 1509 S. Being a seasoned RPG developer, I really want to learn JAVA as it applies to the AS/400. Been thru a host of JAVA training books, but nothing as it relates to the AS/400. Can someone point me in the direction of a good AS/400 + JAVA manual? Is there some other training path available besides the IBM training (budgets are tight right now)? Cheers!
