The servlets in this web app aren't running either - I think it's the Web App as a whole that isn't being recognised. Undoubtedly it because of something I haven't done, but I don't know what.. I usualy do WRKLNK '/path/to/file/filename' and then specify option 9 (Work with Authority) on the option line next to the file. If *PUBLIC has at least *R then QEJBSVR is fine. How can I check if QEJBSVR is authorised? They should be - the same HTML file in an existing (& working) WebApp worked fine - I just copied it. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I'm trying to create a new web application is WAS 3.5(.4) on the AS/400. I've used the admin console wizard to create the webapp. I've create the directory, and put a HTML file in the web folder. Then I've restarted the DEFAULT_SERVER. But when I try to access the HTML file, or a servlet, I get a "You are not authorised to view this page" error. What haven't I done? Why does the documentation not seem to have any instructions for creating WebApps, or a trouble-shooting guide for when it goes wrong? Are these located elsewhere? Frustrated, Chris. _______________________________________________ This is the Java Programming on and around the iSeries / AS400 (JAVA400-L) mailing list To post a message email: JAVA400-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/java400-l or email: JAVA400-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/java400-l.
